Mount St Garjiya School, Inaugurated on 06th March 2003, is conducted by Mother Garjiya Educational & Cultural Society (Regd.) whose educational institutions in India are highly appreciated for the sound, moral, intellectual and physical education imparted to the children committed to their care.

The Garjiyans Consider the formation of character the first essential of any sound educational sytem and so great stress is laid on the inculcation of high ideals, gentlemanly behavior and moral rectitude. All pupils are given a comprehensive course in Value Educations. In teaching the humanities and the sciences, the aim is a sound practical knowledge based on the latest techniques and the requirements of the syllabus of the NCERT/CBSE. Games and physical training find appropriate place in the time table.

The School attaches great, importance to varied programme of activities outside the ordinary class routine. These are designed to develop important traits of character like honest, self-confidence, co-operation and diligence, and to promote latest talents for leadership and responsibility.

A proper use of library facilities, study circles and clubs, debates education and quiz contests, Dramatics, Music-Western and Indian - and useful excursions are some of the cultural as well as educational activities.

Physical training, games and athletics are employed to the best advantages to promote the physical culture and healthy spirit of competitors.

The School has ample playing field while a competent member of the staff always present to give advice and guidance. The fullest scope is given for initiative and leadership among the students themselves. training in skills is imparted during the Physical Education periods within school hours at which attendance is compulsory and organized games may be played daily after school hours.

An Inter-House athletic meet is held annually. Hobbies- Keeping in mind the harmonious development of each pupil and the forming of a fully integrated person, we also offer, through our teachers, a variety of hobbies to the students.
